Best Roommates Evah - Smoke Alarms and Two Ways Out

For most students, the last fire safety training they received was in middle school. However, it is critically important that off-campus students understand fire risks and know the preventative measures that could save their lives. The Boston Fire Department and Campus Firewatch reminds all off-campus students to check and make sure they have working smoke alarms and two ways out of their apartment. If you have not done so, take a few moments to do an audit of your off-campus apartment to ensure you know the exits in case of an emergency and you have working smoke detectors. If you want to ensure your unit is up to code or if you have questions, contact Boston Inspectional Services at 617-635-5300. You can watch the PSA below and learn more about fire safety here.
