Sticking Around for Thanksgiving?

There might be a variety of reasons you aren’t going home over Thanksgiving, be it you live too far away, are an international student, or just don’t want to.  Whatever the reason be sure to keep some of these options in mind if you don’t have anything planned!

1.) There will be a free community Thanksgiving dinner at Tavern in the Square 161 Brighton Ave, Allston on Thursday, November 24th from 11am- 1:30pm. If you are looking for a Thanksgiving meal and some company be sure to check it out!

2.) Campus Ministry and Residential Life are sponsoring a Thanksgiving dinner with Fr. Michael Davidson, SJ. There will be jerk turkey, curry goat, jerk chicken, pies, and other delights. It will be held on Thursday, November 24th in the Thomas More Apartments 1st floor lounge at 4pm.

3.) Volunteer! There is always someone less fortunate than you, and what better way to be men and women for others than by spending your Thanksgiving volunteering. Volunteering is so rewarding and is a great way to spend the holiday if you can’t be with your family. Here are some places you should check out:
