Sign Up For Alert Boston


Mayor Martin J. Walsh and the Office of Emergency Management have launched a new AlertBoston emergency notification system. To stay enrolled in AlertBoston you will need to sign up in the new system. The new system, managed by Code Red, allows residents to sign up to receive notifications by phone call, text, or email in English, Spanish, French and Chinese (Hong Kong dialect). Emergency examples include severe weather events, snow emergencies and parking bans, etc.

Sign up is easy. Simply go to bit.ly/2aWUzP7 to enter the following information:

• Name

• Language preference

• Address 
• Select how you want to receive notifications. Your options are phone call, text or email. You can select one, two or all three methods.


Once entered, the system will ask you to verify and confirm your information. You must confirm your information in order to continue to receive emergency notifications from AlertBoston.
