Information Sessions: The first step in starting your housing search is learning as much information as possible about the process. Each fall and spring Off-Campus Housing hosts off-campus information sessions in various residence halls around campus. At least one person from every group of prospective roommates should attend a session. For more information regarding dates and locations of information sessions, visit our events page.

Off-Campus Housing Database and Roommate Finder: Off-Campus Housing maintains an off-campus housing database and roommate finder web resources, exclusively for the Boston College community. Members of the BC community can sign-up and log into the website at bc.edu/offcampushousing. This user-friendly and mobile-friendly site provides a fully searchable off-campus housing and roommate finder database. Parents and incoming BC students, faculty, staff without BC credentials can request access to the site as a guest user.

Off-Campus Housing Fairs: Each fall, spring, and summer Off-Campus Housing organizes a housing fair. These fairs give students an opportunity to meet with local property owners and rental agents and arrange appointments to view available properties. The fall and spring fairs are intended for undergraduate students while the summer fair is intended for graduate and law school students. Resources: Off-Campus Housing maintains a resources page with links that may be helpful to current and perspective off-campus students and their parents. This page contains information including, but not limited to: transportation, safety, sample forms/documents, rental cost comparisons, frequently asked questions, tenant rights, city resources, housing code checklists, and renters insurance.

Events: Through programming and outreach initiatives Off-Campus Housing works to educate and assist students on issues related to rental policies, roommate and landlord concerns, rights and responsibilities, as well as how to be good community members.
